Anthropologie winter collection
Hey guys! When in London I always manage to get some time to visit one of my favourites shops in town, that i've loved since I went to study in New York many years ago. Well, Anthropologie is not a shop: it is a one of a kind shopping experience. I'm not a great fan of their clothes range, but the homeware and the jewelry are always beautiful. Inspired by the art deco movement, the new jewelry collection is striking and unique full of statement pieces. Ive made a selection of images of what they have available online, but in store there's much more. Prices start at 45€.http://www.anthropologie.eu/ 158 Regent Street, London.

Kimberly Snyder's detox tea

Hi guys! for those of you interested in detoxes, health, wellbeing and organic food, there's someone you have to meet: Kimberly Snyder. She's an american nutritionist that works mainly with celebrities but that also loves to give advice to us civilians. For a year now i've been drinking, every morning, her glowing green smoothie that tastes amazing, gives you loads of vitamins and helped me to quit my last remaining bad habit - coffee. It's such a great drink that even when i'm travelling or staying in a hotel I always manage to get someone in the kitchen to prepare it for me (for a recipe go to Kimberlysnyder.net). Now, that the summer is over i've started to incorporate in my daily routine Kimberly's detox tea made of ginger, lemon juice and cayenne pepper. As she explains in her recipe, the order that you make this tea makes all the difference, as, for example, putting the lemon juice into the hot water would destroy the enzymes. So, here's how you do it:

1. Peel and chop ginger into chunks (not too small).

2 .Heat up water and pour it over the ginger. Leave it for 2 minutes.

3. Now that the water is not too hot, squeeze half a lemon into the mug.

4. Finally, give a good shake of cayenne pepper into the mug.

Crazy about wallpaper
When decorating a space, either a lounge room or a bedroom, there's one thing that can transform a dull room into an exciting place. I'm talking, of course, about wallpaper. I agree it's not easy to choose the right pattern or texture and that most people rather stay away from wallpapers, but some of the new collections out there are absolutely irresistable. London based Tracy Kendall has an innovative and eccentric aesthetic, and an unique approach to wallcoverings that can make any wall look like a piece of art. Kendal's work has graced the walls of museums and won several awards. Simply amazing.http://tracykendall.com/

Victoria Grant: naughty, outrageous hats
What's the ultimate accessory that every girl has to have in her closet? well, since the royal wedding, hats and fascinators have become a big thing on both sides of the pond. Becoming a household name in London, Victoria Grant has had her hats featured in magazines like Vogue and Harpers Bazaar, and Beth Dito and Annie Lennox are among her famous clients. I love the fun, unique and unpretencious point of view of this london base milliner. Grant is not afraid to play with naughty themes and always gives an edgy twist to her designs. Her hats and fascinators can be bought off the peg or created bespoke.http://www.victoriagrant.co.uk/

Why I love traditional chinese medicine
Hey guys! I must confess i have always been a bit skeptical about alternative medice but since i've tried SEN therapies and herbal teas i'm changing my opinion dramatically. Here in London their (medi) spas are getting a lot of attention and I can understand why. The medical consultation is based on a tongue and pulse diagnosis, because most basic movements can be observed in any of nine fundamental positions on each wrist and different areas of the tongue. The pulse of the wrist, for instance, reflects the state of energy in the body and the tongue reflects the health of the organs. I really found the reflexology treatment amazing. The therapist that did it on me was so accurate in spotting and treating my problematic points that i stepped out of her office feeling 5 kilos lighter. As for their selection of herbal teas, the choice is absolutely overwhelming: Weight, detox, complexion, hair, skin, hangover, manhood, eyes, fingers and toes warmer, and many more. There's a tea for every condition or need. I love the hair one, as the name suggests, the chinese use this herb to promote and preserve luxurious hair. senhealth.com
